You skipped the point that Olga somehow knew they were witches and openly states it in class in the presence of all the other students as well as Tanner, Suzie and Blanc, leading her to her doom. That's why Blanc gives Suzie power through her (Suzie's) palms and feet.

Meanwhile I don't understand why Suzie says ''Did I hurt those people?'' Because they were just an audience who had nothing to do with their rituals.

From my perspective, it felt like her mom was Suspirioum at first and once her mother passed, Suspirioum took over her daughters body, hence why she is her sin, due to her taking her daughters life from her and being born as a vessel practically. The reasons I believe this is mostly due to the timing of her going to Berlin and how her mother was dying before that happened too. Also when Markos wants Susie to forget her mom is when Suspirioum makes her move. The movie focused a lot on Susies home and her mother and I don’t think that was just for character development, I think the director wanted us to think that Suspirioum is her mother and that she’s been there this whole time

Also, I’m pretty sure Susprioum killed Markos and her supporters for praising a false mother not because of their evil acts, although that was a big part too, because Blanc also wanted to do that but didn’t think it was the right way, but she was still left alive

I liked your video, but disagree about the political elements not relating to the main plot. In fact, I believe they are really addressing the heart of what the movie is about. I made a video myself that covers this subject. I hope you'll have a look.

I just noticed this but Susie is Mother Suspiriorum, right? It was flip from the original but it should have been obvious from the beginning. And I think Mme Blanc must have picked up on it because you know what Susie was constantly doing throughout the movie...that's right *SIGHING*.

And you get subtle clues as the story is progressing her change. Like Susie's eyes changing bit by bit, from blue to black by the end. Which I think was indicating her awakening as Mother Suspiriorum. And Mme Blanc must have noticed it too, she was always constantly watching her and she'd have this look everytime Susie danced or finished dancing.

Susie IS Mother Susperiorum, not inhabited by the character, Susie was born/reincarnated Mother Susperiorum. Otherwise good job describing the beautiful and powerful storyline.

It was a nightmare I would see again

It was a sacrilege. It was like remaking Jaws or Silence of the Lambs. Some remakes are forbidden, Suspiria is definitely one of them. You just can't do it. It's like Andy Warhol doing some crappy pop art version of the Mona Lisa.

I found the aesthetics of the original quite amusing and contrasting without clashing, and the ending was very satisfying. This remake felt like a very different movie altogether, quite bland and generic. Still a good version for the most part.

This movie was beyond amazing so I feel that anything that claims to explain or tells the happenings of the movie sequence should be equal in those regards. I don't feel like you gave any new insight into the meaning of the movie, you only stated the obvious. Plus, the influx and tone of your voice should come down a good octave. I wouldn't have even said this to you but three people including myself all had the same feeling of annoyance when

The point I'm trying to make to you is that if you're going to take on a film as fantastical as Suspiria, you need to put more effort and creativity than a box of Cheerios. Ya no?

I like the idea of Susan's dying mother's last words calling her the "sin she smeared on the world." This no doubt has something to do with how mother Suspiria came to inhabit her. There's a lot more depth to the remake in my opinion.

It makes me think the rejection of Mrs Bannion and the appearance of Death were linked.
